Here is a list and description of the various services offered here at Celia’s Dog Training & Kennel.
Doggie Daycare- Your dog comes for the day and gets to play with other dogs throughout the day. It’s a great source of exercise and a great way to get rid of some of that excess energy. NOTE: Unneutered males or aggressive dogs are not permitted at Doggie Daycare.
Private Obedience Training – I offer private training less to work on whatever problems you may be having with your dog. Please call to discuss with me what’s going on and we can set up a time, either at your home or here on-site, to begin training.
Boarding – Bring your dog to a safe and happy place while you’re away! Doggie Daycare is included. It is recommended you bring your own supply of food (one, so your dog will continue to eat during his stay; and two, so he doesn’t end up with diahrrea), any necessary medications, and a bed or any toys to help with his comfort (and adjustment if it’s his first time!).
Also, with the boarding, we do have some requirements.
- Book in advance. Best way is to call. Our phone number is 252-249-3689 (8a-5:30p, Monday-Saturday).
- Dogs must have ALL required vaccinations. No exceptions.
- Copy of shot records from your vet.
- Signed boarding agreement.
The necessary vaccinations are for rabies, kennel cough, and distemper/parvo (DHL). Your dog absolutely CAN NOT be boarded here without these shots being up to date.
In-Kennel Training – If you don’t have the time to commit to private lessons, in-kennel training might be the right alternative for you. Combining the benefits of training and boarding, dogs enrolled in an in-kennel training program (which often will focus on one or two specific problems, but can be more generalized) are worked with and trained at least twice a day. At the end of the in-kennel training program, there will be a private lesson given to show and teach you what your dog now knows and show you how to know it too.
